This bangle features the traditional Japanese craft technique of “mizuhiki” or “solid knot”.
This technique, the “solid knot”, also known as the “true knot” or “correct knot”, signifies “a single, unrepeatable moment” thanks to its secure and indissoluble nature. It is used for weddings, funerals, disaster relief visits and condolences.
Although it is a simple knot, when woven, its pronounced curves create a luxurious yet charming aesthetic.
Paired with simple outfits, the distinctive character of the knot stands out, creating a lively accent.

Mizuhiki is coated with a glass membrane, but moisture can penetrate between the nodes.
If left wet for an extended period, it can cause staining or deterioration. Wipe off water drops and dry before storing.
Heavy friction or contact with sharp objects can cause wear and deterioration of surface threads. Pay particular attention to overlapping with metal bracelets.
Avoid direct sunlight to prevent discolouration.
