Hinamatsuri is celebrated on 3 March and is known as the “Girls Festival' or “Peach Festival” (Momo no Sekku). It is a special day when families pray for the happiness, health and beauty of their daughters.
Hina dolls (Hina-ningyo) are traditional Japanese dolls displayed on Hinamatsuri (Girls' Day) on 3 March. They are not simply toys, but works of art representing an ancient imperial court and serving as amulets to protect girls.
While in the past the doll sets were very large and complex, today the trend is towards more minimalist and designer versions. Many artisans create small sets enclosed in elegant frames or made with modern materials, perfect for display as refined decorative objects even in small spaces, without losing their symbolic value.
A modern interpretation of Hina-ningyo, made using the Mizuhiki technique in a compact frame.
After placing your order, each piece is individually crafted by our skilled artisans. Therefore, delivery will take approximately one month.
