Guarantee safe & secure checkoutWhat is “Tango no Sekku”? On 5 May, Japan celebrates Tango no Sekku, known today as “Children's Day” (Kodomo no Hi). It is a traditional festival to wish children (especially boys, historically) healthy growth, strength and success in life.
Homes are decorated with miniature samurai helmets or armour. This serves to protect children from misfortune and illness.
Tradition and modernity in a small picture. This piece of furniture was born from the desire to revive ancient traditions even in modern homes, where space is often limited. Inside a simple and welcoming wooden frame, we have enclosed a helmet (Kabuto) made entirely by hand using the art of Mizuhiki. The elegant, lucky knots combine modern aesthetics with ancient symbolism, offering a refined and “casual” way to celebrate Children's Day every day.
After placing your order, each piece is individually crafted by our skilled artisans. Therefore, delivery will take approximately one month.
