Apollo Masu for wine set of 2

A uniquely shaped wooden wine glass that tapers to a Fuji-shaped cup.

It has a regular hexagonal shape when viewed from above.
The polygonal shape makes the corners delicate and the design is so comfortable in the hand that one feels like lifting it.

While the beauty of Cypress is emphasised by the careful lacquering process, 
has a glossy and elegant texture that will refine your wine drinking space.
It is a pleasure for the eyes and the hand, with a smooth texture that makes you want to touch it.

The coating process has two other effects that make it more delicate to the touch.
The first is that the aroma of the cypress is reduced so as not to interfere with the rich aroma of the wine.
The aroma, which varies depending on the region and age of the wine, is a characteristic of the wine.
MasuKobo Masuya decided to suppress the aroma of the cypress to allow customers to enjoy the wine's aroma at their leisure.

Secondly, the colour of wine is not left in the Masu.
Red wine, white wine, rosé wine... there are different types.
If you use uncoated solid wood, you may leave the sign that the wood fibres will absorb the aroma and colour of the wine.
Such concerns can be eliminated by the special varnishing process.
