Cara mug

The name ‘Cara’ comes from eggshells, and the shape is based on the actual outline of an egg, making it comfortable to hold. The material is Japanese cedar from Hokkaido. Wood has low thermal conductivity, so warm items slowly transfer their heat. It is lightweight, easy to hold, and resistant to breakage. It can also be paired with the separately sold Cara saucer.

Do not use microwave ovens or dishwashers and do not leave the product in them for long periods of time. 
The coating may crack and render the product unusable. Do not pour boiling water immediately after boiling.

After use, wash with a sponge and lukewarm water with a diluted detergent. Then wipe dry with a cloth and dry well.

Although fully compliant for use in the food industry according to current regulations in Japan, which strictly control the materials and substances used in production, this artisanal product does not have FCM/MOCA certification issued in the EU, where it is marketed for its decorative rather than functional qualities.
