The two colors come from cherry bark and Akita cedar. Their contrast highlights the Kaba-zaiku’s special appeal.
The base of the tray is made of Magewappa, which is wrapped with cherry bark. Its cherry bark highlights serve a practical purpose as handles.
The piece carries an airy visualistic impression.
